The things we use, wear, and carry every day can serve as reminders and inspiration to live according to our deepest values and in harmony with our planet. This page is home to a growing collection of journals and products focused on personal growth and mindful exploration. For each sale, a donation will be made to non-profits working to preserve wilderness, defend Native rights and resources, and mitigate climate change.
This store is brand new! The first product is a plant foraging journal for the IN THE WILD series, available now on Amazon. The series will grow to include a variety of products inspired by the unique ecosystems and landscapes of America – some for purchase, some for free.
An IN THE WILD journal is your ideal companion for a wild harvesting excursion. Record the plants you harvest, make field notes and sketches, and capture the feeling of exploring the desert – or any habitat you call home. This book features my original photography and hand-drawn illustrations, inspired by the beauty that surrounds our current home in the Coachella Valley. It opens with a poem by my dear friend, Sewa Buwewa Contreras, a Yaqui healer and educator who helped inspire this journal.
Too much structure can make a journal feel restrictive, or like an assignment to be completed instead of a tool for your own goals and expression. I went for a minimalist design that provides enough structure to be useful without restricting your creativity. Simple prompts help you organize your thoughts, and a light dot-grid background helps you write and draw neatly, if you care about neatness. If not, they’re easy to ignore. Every third spread is blank for open-ended creative use.
An IN THE WILD journal makes an excellent gift for a plant lover, natural healer, or wilderness explorer in your life…and for yourself!
COMING SOON! More types of journals from more beautiful places, + sustainable bags, bottles and more to enhance every moment you spend IN THE WILD.

Since leaving the non-profit world to start my design business, I’ve struggled with the feeling that I wasn’t doing enough to defend our planet, or the people hit hardest by it’s degradation. One of the goals for this store is fund financial support for the organizations and people that are leading that work.
In the United States, institutions and laws designed to protect the environment and human health are being rolled back at a time when we need them most. It’s threatening fragile ecosystems and natural resources we all depend on, and it’s thwarting critical efforts to avert climate disaster. For the immediate future, curbing destructive and illegal policy changes is one of the most powerful actions we can take to protect our future.
During Trump’s first term in office, Earthjustice took his administration to court over 200 times for violations and illegal changes to environmental laws – and won 85% of those cases. Their work has helped to protect endangered species, preserve wild places, and defend the rights of Native communities to their ancestral lands and resources. Whenever I start to feel defeated, I read up on their latest victories. My outlook immediately shifts. I come back with more resilience, more love, and a greater capacity to act.
Need some of that? Get it right here. Earthjustice – VICTORIES
Thank you!
It’s a sigil! Sigil magic has been sensationalized in pop culture, but sigils are essentially just visual symbols infused with purpose and intention. They can act on the viewer subconsciously, whether that person believes in magic or not. This one is designed to remind us of our deep connection with the Earth and our power to protect it.
Loving nature in the 21st century is hard, and pretty scary. Each time you see the sigil, I hope you’ll feel gratitude for the miraculous world we’re living in right now, and a renewed sense of possibility and resolve to act in ways that honor our planet and all of its inhabitants.
To give the sigil this power for you, focus on it as you say these words:
“I accept the challenge of standing up for this wild and beautiful planet that sustains us all. There’s power in my voice, my vote, and the ways I choose to spend my time and money. I wield my power boldly and with love.”
You’ll find the sigil on most all of the free and paid items featured here. Use the ones that appeal to you bring the sigil’s power into your orbit. The more you see it, the better it works!
